Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

 

Sheffield South East Trust is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced HLTA to start Monday 2nd November 2020.  This is a permanent post and you will be based at Phillimore Community Primary School, working 3 days/week (initially in FS1, 21.75 hours, Wednesday to Friday, term time only).

 

The school is based within the community of Darnall and our pupils are well behaved, friendly and positive about their learning. 

 

We are looking to appoint a strong and committed part time HLTA to cover PPA, staff absence and training events in FS1.  You will work within the agreed framework of supervision to complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities, including planning, preparation and delivering high quality interventions.

 

The successful person must meet the higher level teaching assistant standards or equivalent qualification or experience, and have literacy and numeracy skills with a good understanding of the national curriculum.
