Sheffield South East Trust is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Level 3 Qualified Teaching Assistant to start May 2023. This is a permanent post and you will be based at Phillimore Community Primary School.  

The school is based within the community of Darnall and our pupils are well behaved, friendly and positive about their learning.  
The successful post holder will work 32.5 hours/week (term time only). We need someone who:

  • Is Level 3 Qualified
  • Has a good understanding of child development and how to support children with different needs
  • Is self-motivated
  • Has a friendly and warm manner
  • Will contribute to the planning, organisation and provision of appropriate play and educational activities
  • Will champion phonics and reading 
  • Will work with colleagues and leaders to contribute to whole school development
  • Who can model high standards and have high aspirations for all children

Sheffield South East Trust is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Part Time Level 2 Teaching Assistant, working Monday to Friday, mornings only. This is a temporary position based at Phillimore Community Primary School, starting as soon as possible until August 2024

Our pupils are well behaved, friendly and positive about their learning and we have a team of hard-working and supportive staff. The school is a large and friendly school within the community of Darnall.

We need someone who:

  • Has a commitment to developing and maximising the potential of our pupils
  • Good organisational and interpersonal skills- fully responsive to the day to day issues in school
  • Has excellent literacy, numeracy and communication skills
  • Will champion phonics and reading  
  • Will work with colleagues and leaders to contribute to whole school development
