Sheffield South East Trust is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant to start September 2021. This post is temporary for 1 year due to a budget review and you will be based at Phillimore Community Primary School. 


The successful post holder will join our Inclusion Team working 5 days/week (32.5 hours, term time only).


We are looking to appoint an excellent practitioner who, together with our committed and talented team, will inspire children to achieve high outcomes.


We need someone who;

  • Is flexible (as part of the Inclusion Team each day will be different!)
  • Has knowledge of Inclusive practice
  • Demonstrates an understanding of delivering interventions on a one to one basis and to small groups.
  • Has experience of working with children with a variety of needs.
  • Will champion phonics and reading in all areas of school
  • Will work with colleagues and leaders to contribute to whole school development
  • Who can model high standards and have high aspirations for all children

Unfortunately visits to school will not be possible at this current time, however, Alison Blakemore (Deputy Head teacher and Inclusion Lead) is running two Zoom sessions where she will share further information about the school and answer any questions you may have about the post.
