‘Inspiring a Generation’
Phillimore School has enjoyed another Faculty Week. This term’s focus was on citizenship. ‘Inspiring a Generation’ focussed the children on pollution and the impact on our World, challenging and inspiring them to make a change for the better. From looking at the impact of litter around school to making reusable bags and clingfilm, the children have become eco-warriors! We have welcomed visitors from Sheffield City Council and Modeshift Stars to talk to the children about reducing pollution. Pollution is an issue that speaks to our children both as Darnall residents and as global citizens. The Faculty Week culminated in a showcase of the children’s work that parents and carers were warmly invited to. A great week! Lots of photos and videos can be found on our school website.
