We know that sometimes families need help and support. We will always try to help and have many members of staff that parents and carers can talk to in confidence. If we cannot help or if you prefer to get advice and support from other services, please see the information and links below for where you can get the help you need.
MAST (Multi Agency Support Team) website
Raising a family is the most important job anyone can do. It has amazing rewards but it can also be very challenging. At some point you may need some extra help. Every year, Multi Agency Support Teams (MAST) support thousands of families by delivering parenting programmes, whole family key worker support and through health and play based activity in our Family Centres.
Parents and carers can access a range of groups that offer practical advice and support with parenting. We deliver programmes that are evidence based, tried and tested. The content is written by professional psychologists who have conducted years of research into what works to manage behaviours and difficulties that we can all face as parents. Everyone has busy lives and we are all different. There are different types of groups you can access depending on your needs and at times to suit you.
We are a statutory service offering free impartial, confidential, information advice and support to: Children and young people (0-25 years old) with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and their parent carers on education and related health and social care matters.
