School and Local Authority attendance Meeting
This meeting is similar to the School Attendance Meeting, except that Mrs Sutton, our Senior Lead for Attendance, leads it. The Local Authority Attendance and Inclusion Officer may also join this meeting.
The meeting is again a chance for you to tell us about anything stopping you from bringing your child daily.
At this meeting, a decision will be made to agree to a parenting contract, seek advice about taking legal action, or refer to another service such as MAST.
Again, there will be an expectation for improved attendance as soon as possible, and we will try to find ways to support you in achieving this.
You must tell us if you cannot come to the meeting so that another date and time can be agreed upon. Eventually, the meeting will go ahead, even if you do not come.
