The National School Breakfast Programme at Phillimore

The National School Breakfast Programme

Our school has joined the government’s National School Breakfast Programme (NSBP), which is being delivered by the charities Family Action and Magic Breakfast. As a NSBP School we are pleased to offer a healthy school breakfast, available to all, and enjoy the benefits that brings, with children settled and ready to learn at the start of the school day.

Your child is welcome to attend our breakfast club in the dining hall, which is open from 8:00am until 8:30am (food until 8:25am).  We will be serving a variety of cereals, warm bagels and drinks – all free of charge to children.  If parents wish to purchase cereals or a bagel there will be a small charge.

Your child does not have to go to breakfast club to get a free breakfast. From 8:30am children entering school will be able to take a bagel from our ‘Bagel Bars’ on the school gates from a member of staff.

Any child who has an allergy can come to the breakfast club where they will be able to access food suitable for them.
