In Foundation Stage One we aim to create an environment which promotes self-discovery, exploration and curiosity towards learning. We value each child as a unique individual and provide a balance of child initiated and adult led activities.
The Nursery is arranged in 'areas of provision' which supports the principles of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Children are encouraged to explore these areas, developing confidence and independence.
The staff in the setting observe children as they learn through play and identify the 'next steps' for individual children. You can find the next steps for your child on the target display boards so you can help support you child at home. Please talk to your child's key worker if you would like more information about their next steps.
